When Abbey + Dan got in touch for me to shoot their big day they didn’t have much planned other than knowing they wanted to keep it local for friends and family – who I must say absolutely adore these two!
Based in the Waikato region, they decided on St. Peter’s Cathedral for the officials, before taking the party to the beautiful Cambridge Town Hall, which was an epic location for a reception and completely enabled them to execute their dream of a “minimalist-styled wedding with a touch of class”.
I loved getting to know these two – Abbey with her gorgeous & contagious smile that lights up a room, and Dan, a down to earth creative soul. It was a day full of drinking good coffee, lots of laughter, dancing in alleyways and racing against the autumn sunset.
All in all, a pretty perfect day and one I’d love to do all over again in a heartbeat!
