Wedding party shots work best in the late afternoon or early evening, when the sunlight softens. This helps create that wonderful romantic light in the images. I always try to catch the ‘golden hour’ if possible; this is the hour before sunset and believe me, they call it ‘golden’ for a reason. However, I’m happy to work with any schedule and you can still count on great results as I’m pretty adaptable!

All of my packages come complete with a pre-game location scout, so we can be organised and stress-free on the big day, rain or shine!

I’m totally comfortable handling a full wedding by myself, but a second shooter can sometimes offer a range of different options and angles for bigger events. A second shooter will usually start off photographing the groom & groomsmen getting ready while I’m shooting with the girls. For the actual ceremony and reception, they’ll capture different perspectives and extra little moments that I might not get the chance to. However, I’m the one who edits all the images, so all your finished photos will have the same consistent style.

I pride myself on being a romantic wedding photographer who focuses on being heartfelt, natural and connected. I aim to create timeless imagery that can transport you back to a specific moment or emotion. I’ll document your wedding in the most relaxed way possible, so you can simply enjoy your day. However, I’ll be there with a helpful word or two for the bridal photos; no one’s standing around feeling awkward on my watch!

The images are all fully edited and delivered via an online gallery, in a selection of black & white and colour. They will come in both high-resolution and social media-shareable sizes!

Being a visual storyteller, the delivery of your story is super important to me; I want to make sure every image is perfect. In peak season it can take six to eight weeks to receive all your images. However, I’ll send through a couple of sneak peeks within a few days so you can get a sense of my work so far and relive a little piece of your day (preferably with a nice glass of wine).

A lot! I provide 600+ images, depending on your chosen package.

As the photographer, I will own the copyright to the images; however, you will have a ‘home use’ license, entitling you to unlimited prints, emailing, sharing on social media and permission to enter into wedding competitions (with a photography credit and approval).

For sure. Like you, I want to make sure that we’re the perfect match - after all, we’re going to spend a lot of time together on your big day, so I want you to be as comfortable as possible before we dive head first into all the fun and madness.

That’s a BIG ‘YEP’! One of my favourite parts of my job is that it takes me to many parts of this beautiful country (and beyond!). I feel very blessed that I get to meet so many amazing people along the way.

Heck yes, I am an experienced New Zealand elopement wedding photographer! I love the intimacy of elopements and the freedom in terms of locations. Let's explore NZ's backyard together!

Oh yes, I offer a bunch of different options and I’m always willing to switch things up to create the perfect package just for you.

Am I the New Zealand wedding photographer for you? Awesome! Get in touch to check if I’m available and then it's simply a case of sending over an online agreement and a $1000 deposit.
